Day off today - I'm having a long weekend - off today, match tomorrow, my Sunday off, and Monday is - well - its my birthday..........
Should be a good game tomorrow, Port Vale started the season all guns blazing, but results started to tail off - that said though they won at away at Tranmere so they haven't completely lost it. Mind you, with Town on a five league match unbeaten run, we have the best form in the division at the moment, and I fully expect the good run to continue. I expect tomorrow to be a close encounter (it'll be another 4-1-4-1 day), but seeing as Nathan Clarke will most likely not be dropped I'm going for Town to win 2-1, or 3-1.
Taking no chances tomorrow - for the same fixture last season I took the bus (I can catch it round the corner from where I live) to Burslem - only for it to break down 3 miles from the ground - I was panicking like mad. We all had to pile on a replacement and I got into the ground at 1/4 to 3 - I had visions of not making it. It was close!!! Sam doesn't need the car for anything so I will drive up there this time.
The bookmaking firm I work for (Oakfield Racing) has a branch in Burslem (its the nearest bookis to the ground by the way), so providing I have the time I will pop in and see my two colleagues before the game.
