Had things been different then Sam and me would have been setting off to Blackpool for a long weekend today, that had been the plan when the fixtures came out (Sam goes to the pub, Julie goes to the football, the usual arrangement). But seeing as the 2 Cliff Richard concert tickets that my sister has been lovingly looking after for twelve months are dated the 19th of November (and not the 26th November as I had erronously thought) we had to abandon the idea (too much rushing around on Sunday, I couldn't have done it). I wouldn't have minded, but we haven't been away this year so the break would have been nice. But the concert should be fun. Say what you like about Sir Cliff, he's still there after nearly 50 years in music, so you can't knock him!!
Hoping for a better performance from Town tomorrow, but I'm not hopeful - come on lads, surprise us!!! I hear that Chris Brandon is back from injury, so should be available for selection. Likewise David Mirfin (who played for the reserves the other day) and Martin McIntosh, who was missing last weekend.
