A few of you have been very kind enough to sign my guestbook, but I need to take issue with a recent contributor calling his/herself "...mischief maker...". This is what they said.
"Totally disagree with your comments re: the protests, nobody was there to cause trouble, it was the heavy handed tactics of the police which caused two fans to get injured, one required hospital treatment, and to label the protestors as not real fans is disgaceful, at the two protests I have seen many fans who are veterans of the fourth division days, remember them? Don't just repeat what it says in the hudds davy unexaminer find out for yourself "
Firstly, to say no-one was there just to cause trouble is laughable. I didn't say that everyone was out for trouble, but there were some who were (my sources are impeccable). Furthermore I also said that there were genuine Town fans there wanting to air their grievences, but nevertheless there were so-called supporters there just to make a nuisence of themselves. I don't like what Ken Davy is doing to our beloved club as much as you do, we are, how can I put this, "...singing from the same hymn sheet...", as it were and I fully support the "Fight For Answers" campaign. The original leaflet was reproduced in full on this site some time ago. I have also signed the on-line petition, as I am equally as curious as to "..where the money went...".
Just thought I would clear that up.
