Millwall 0-0 Huddersfield Town

A game low on quality and excitement - and if the radio commontary was anything to go by, then that was all to be expected, as Paul Ogden said that if the game got dull he would count the Town fans (180 at a rough estimate)!!!

Huddersfield had the ball in the net in the first half, but Martin McIntosh's effort counted for nothing as the referee blew for a foul in the build up. Aside from that Town didn't appear to have any great chances of note, but apart from one shot (David Mirfin cleared off the line) Millwall created little either, so a no-score draw was probably a fair result.

Town played the usual 4-1-4-1 formation, with Boothy on his own upfront, and I expect the same on Saturday as well. Town coped well with all that Millwall threw at them. The midfield and defence held well, and as I said we needed 4 points from the two games this week - well, we got one of them anyway, so that's a start I suppose!

More interestingly was the interview I heard with Jacko prior to the game. He talked about the transfer window coming up in January, and how there would be new faces in, and others who would be on the way out - between now and then expect much speculation about who is heading for the exit.....
