The worst kept secret at Huddersfield Town is finally out. Terry Yorath has today left the club by mutual consent. Now, I admit, I was never Taff's greatest fan, but it would seem to be no coincedence that our recent poor run has co-incided with his indisposition.

John Dungworth has been promoted in Taffs place (I further admit to not being much of a fan of him either), but I fear that Town have missed a trick here - surely there must be a coach out there who could have come on board, with the tactical help that Jacko clearly needs. They could have left John Dungworth with the reserves as before and brought in someone else with masses of experience - or would Jacko have felt underminded by such a move, I wonder?? Or are the board cost-cutting here? Saving a wage?? Not sure.
