Town bring the curtain down on the old season in style with a second consecutive home win against a very ordinary Orient side.
Town much deserved the win as well, and were in front in the 11th minute - Frank Sinclairs clever ball finding Mark Hudson who pulled the ball back to Michael Collins to score from 12 yards.
Well, against Northampton we saw the first goal scored by a Town defender this season - we didn't have to wait long for a second, when after 26 minutes Sinclair was involved again, and he provided the cross that enabled Andy Holdsworth to score his first of the season. He wasn't long in doubling his tally when right on half-time - a poorly cleared cross landed straight at him, and Holdsworth made no mistake with the shot. 3-0 up and we are cruising!!
Orient did get a goal back just before the hour mark, a 25 yard shot by right-back Jason Demitriou beating Matt Glennon.
It was Orients only moment of note, and Town were comfortable for the vast majority of this match, all boding well for next season - pity its 97 days away (I'm counting....).

Following this game at work was impossible. I was sat on the furthest workstation away from the televisions, and with 2 of the nosiest Supervisors walking the floor using the Net was out of the question. I got my mid-session break at around 1/2 4 and only then did I find out how we were getting on (although I had a feeling we were most likely winning).
Sounds all in all an excellent performance, and as I have said before, with a few ins and outs in the summer next season could be one to savour - I can't wait already!!!
Will post a comprehensive end of season review in the morning.
