Soccer Night last night - anyone else tune in?
Two things:
Jon Stead on Either/Or. More of a nod in Towns direction would have been nice, instead of answering all the questions towards Sheff U (United over Town, N Warnock over PJ, Bramhall Lane over The Galph, United staying up over Town Promotion and so on), although it was more a case of knowing what side is bread is presently buttered I imagine.
Secondly, fair play to John Shires for managing to keep a straight face throughout, even when the subject manner was Leeds and Bradford being relegated - now that's what I call a true professional! No way could I have got through that broadcast without bursting into spontaneous laughter at some point (he must have been tempted), we fellow Town fans salute you!!
