Here is a link from todays News Of The World, detailling Adam Pearsons interest in Town:

Pearson - I'm Bidding £10 Million

I know the NOTW is not the most reliable rag on earth, but I hope they got this right for once!

Huddersfield Town 2-0 Luton Town

The mighty Terriers stop the rot in decent fashion - aided by the returning Frank Sinclair, a start for Danny Cadamateri and a debut for Ronnie Wallwork - by beating a good Luton side in front of over 9000 fans (the gate up on what most thought it would be courtesy of a local schools promotion).

In front of a "...subdued atmosphere..." (so said Paul Ogden, citing the early kick off for that (how I know he said that I'll explain later)) .

Both sides pretty much cancelled each other out early on - the referee being the busiest participant, dishing out a few yellow cards - Town having the best chance when Cadamateris shot was harmlessly gathered up by the Luton goalkeeper.

We took the lead in the 36th minute; Matty Glennons long free kick up field falling to Danny Cadamateri, his shot parried by the keeper into the path of Luke Beckett, who was able to take his time before putting his shot away. It stayed 1-0 at the break.

Luton were down to 10 men almost immediately in the second half; Paul Furlong, already booked in the first half for persistent fouling, received his marching orders after a nasty elbow challenge on Richard Keogh (probably would have been a straight red under any other circumstances anyway).

Town wrapped up the win in the 60th minute. A lovely move involving Chris Brandon and Andy Holdsworth set Danny Cadamarteri on his way, and he made no mistake by rounding the keeper, and stroking the ball into the net despite 2 Luton defenders tracking back.

More goal chances fell to Andy Holdsworth and Ronnie Wallwork, but it stayed 2-0. Thankfully, even though Adam Pearson was in the ground, the supporters were more interested in what was going on the pitch, rather than what might be happening off it. An excellent win (amazing what a few older heads can do), and Town can be full of confidence for the visit of Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

Was on my way to work when Town kicked off. Sams words of "...concentrate on the road..." were ringing in my ears, so apart from having "...That's the Way..." on my i-pod, I tried not to think too much of what might have been happening! As things happened, I arrived at work early (not much traffic on the roads), and as I pulled up on the car park a brainwave ensued.

Stoke on Trent is quite high up, and the wind might just be in the right direction - any chance I might be able to pick up a weak signal on 774 MW from Radio Leeds? Had to be worth a try - and it worked!! Ok, it was fairly faint, kept drifting in and out, and was constantly interrupted by another station broadcasting on a similar frequency, but I could hear Oggy & Kieran alright, could make out what was happening, and managed to spend 10 minutes listening to the game (missed the goals though).

Its brilliant what can be achieved if you try!!!

Wish I was going the game today, its going to be hard trying to work. I gather AP is going to be in attendance; wonder what he'll make of 1000s of Town fans chanting his name? Presumably KD will be there too (wont look good for him if he isn't), although the "...Davy Out..." chants are not exactly new!

Fingers crossed for a Town win, God I wish I was going!!!!!

Oh, and Sam tells me Ronnie Wallwork is "..far better than the s*** you've got..."

Nuff said!

Town bring in West Broms former Manchester United midfielder Ronnie Wallwork on loan.

Wallwork Loan Deal

Is this is Davys idea of ambtiton? And its a striker we need, not another midfielder I thought!! Will pick my Man U supporting hubbys brains over this one, he is bound to have seen him play!

Welcome to "...Either Or..." ATT style!!

No contest........

Pearson In Takeover Bid (Yorkshire Post)

I suspect this might put a few hundred on the gate on Saturday, despite kicking off at Silly O'Clock........

.... and following on from the earlier posts - this from the official site:

Pearson Declares Interest

A tiny bit disgruntled that Davy doesn't all that keen to sell (and what this about ambitious plans, yeah right, whatever), but this is not going to go away I just know it. Not now. We supporters must make sure it doesn't anyhow.

Fantastic, getting a tad excited now!!

Follow up to the previous posting.......

Message from Fight For Answers

That'll do for me!

Anyone seen this man?

The rumour mill is a busy place at most clubs, particularly Town, but this is one whisper I hope holds some water.

There are not too many fans who would turn their noses up at fresh investment / a new owner, and, if the jungle drums presently beating are correct, that might be just around the corner.

Adam Pearson - Town Fan, Multi-Millionaire Businessman, former owner / board member at Hull City, currently out of football, has apparently shown an interest in buying another club. Now the press are linking him with Derby and Notts County, but it would seem (a few more in the know than me are saying) that he could be interested us - as I say, I hope this news is more than just a false hope.

Even though I can't go on Saturday, the early kick off has even managed to catch me out! A 12-45 work start for me means I will be on the road when we kick off, and of course my location prevents me from receiving any sort of commentary in the car!! Can't remember the last time that happened on a Saturday ie: me either not being in work / not being at home / not in attendance when Town have kicked off on a Saturday - must have been years ago!!

I did say on DATM I wouldn't post the following on here without the authors permission, but I cannot let this go - possibly the greatest, certainly the most heartfelt post I've ever seen - thanks Bradford Based Blue....

"...Dear Mr. Davy,I had grave doubts about you from the very beginning.

1. The demise of Sheffield Eagles to ensure the Huddersfield Giants continued.
2. The company you were a Director of fined by FSA for misdemeanours.
3. Your dogged refusal to offer anything more than a Season ticket to the Bond Holders (only after a public outcry) to compensate them for thier loss.
4. The Autocratic way you dealt with the ST regarding a position on the Board.
5. The derogatory remarks towards the fans last season.

These are just a few examples of the kind of character you are. You are a businessman. You only understand one thing, MONEY. I accept that nice guys dont win prizes. This is business and its cut throat.

Mr. Davy, I think you have seriously underestimated just how much Huddersfield Town FC means to Huddersfield, the surrounding areas and its people. This is no ordinary business, this is a business where the product you sell matters to people. This product is indelibly etched into peoples lives and hearts.Castle Hill, Emley Moor mast to name but a few....Landmarks that put Huddersfield on the map. These landmarks visible to all for miles around, always there in the corner of your eye as you go about your business around Huddersfield. However, many of us can't see the magnificant Galpharm stadium. Many of us no longer live in the Huddersfield area. I know of people that make the journey from Carlisle, Bristol, Skelmersdale and Hull...the four corners of this great country.

So you see Mr. Davy but we dont have to live in Huddersfield to appreciate the things that remind us of Huddersfield because we carry Huddersfield Town around in our hearts every waking day.We turn up in our thousands, every week to watch our beloved Huddersfield Town and every person in that ground knows the illustrious history we have. Some even remember great times in the early 70's, and the season under Mick Buxton as we set records breaking the 100 goals barrier. For most of us, we can but dream about those levels of success again.

Granted, football is a different beast and we will never know the kinds of success we had in the 1920's again. I dont ask for much, all i want is for a few seasons of going forward, a few seasons of relative success instead of this stagnation and marking time. This group of players ARE good enough, they ARE the right personnel and with a few well chosen additions CAN achieve success.

THIS CANNOT BE DONE WITH PENNY PINCHING AND CUTTING CORNERS. PAY CHEAP, PAY TWICE!!

I will be quite blunt sir, you are not the man to take us forward. You are not the man to bring success to this club. You are not the man to give us fans the kind of experiences our hearts desire. You don’t feel the pain of a Town defeat. You haven’t held your son in your arms trying to console him after seeing your beloved Town relegated. You haven’t held your son in your arms trying to console him after seeing your team just miss out on automatic promotion because of some freak goal. You haven’t held your son in your arms after experiencing his first promotion whilst following his beloved Town, he is now 17 yrs old so that just highlights how sparingly the good times come around, and yet we continue to turn up in our thousands in the hope that some modicum of success will come our way again soon. You will NEVER feel that passion, the kind of love for my Huddersfield Town that i share with 13,000 other kindred souls.

Its time to let go....Its time you cut your losses. Its time for you to do the decent thing. Hand back the 40% of the stadium and sell the club. Make your profit, i dont begrudge you that.

Its time to let someone who has the kind of passion you have for the Giants take us forward.

This clubs is going backwards at an alarming rate of knots and will continue to do so with you at the helm. The longer you remain in charge the further back we fall and the more your investment becomes a burden. As an astute businessman you know this is the right time to let go...."

Stunning. I have suggested that he certainly send a copy to KD asap, and also to Andrew Watson, Paul Ogden, Andrew Crawshaw and Mel Booth - and I await out Chairmans reply with great interest.

Northampton Town 3-0 Huddersfield Town

...and from what I have been told, a completely fair reflection. Yes, I'm upset and disappointed - but I am also extremely angry. These wretched results all seem to be following the same pattern - a lively Town opening, only to go behind, then completely fold. 4 matches (3 league + 1 JPT), 3 goals for, 12 goals against. Its a disgrace, and I'm absolutely furious.

Now, the daft thing is had I been off work today I may well have attended (one of my first thoughts yesterday morning was that I wished I was going) - I haven't been to Northampton before, but I know a few who have and, I'm told, it's straightforward to get to with parking-a-plenty. Glad I was in work instead......

Town had Boothy and Luke Beckett up front (even AR must see that this just doesn't work), and aside from winning headers they achieved nothing. In fact, the first half was a bit of a non-event, with neither side creating a great deal - even so Town still managed to contrive to go in a goal behind, Poul Hubertz scoring right on half time, another goal conceded from a corner (how often does this keep happening).

Second half Town were just not at the races. Even the introduction of Danny Cadamateri for an overdue debut did nothing to halt the mediocrity. Northamptons 2nd and 3rd goals coming in the space of 5 minutes (62 & 66 minutes) courtesy of Andy Holt & Andy Kirk, the referee may as well have blown for full time then and there. Hopeless, useless, pathetic, embarrassing.

AR on Northampton v Town

****

Didn't finish work until 9pm last night, but I had already received word about the result. I couldn't see Sky Soccer Saturday from where I was sat, and there were too many Supervisors wandering about for many Livescore updates, but I had enough information to know we were losing. Got to the club about 1/4 to 10, and prior to this my husband, so he says "..was having a quiet drink 'til you showed up...", as at least 6 concerned souls wandered over to me, some wanting to know how we'd got on, some who already knew. I'm quite happy to answer all questions, and debate, but sometimes (last night a case in point) Sam gets a bit begrudging (my reputation tends to precede me unfortunately). "...I haven't seen you all day, then all I get is this, f****** Huddersfield Town - f****** useless team going f****** nowhere." For once I'm inclined to agree.......

And don't even begin to mention Chairman and Rugby Clubs!! As predicted, we are kicking off at 12 noon for no good reason next weekend. Expect an extremely low attendance, and maybe a demonstration......

Bit of time on my hands today, off work and car at the garage for repairs, thought I would get a few Town issues off my chest........

Andy Ritchie

Is our new (I know its been a few months but he still is to me) gaffer going to be all he's cracked up to be? Someone on DATM has gone to the trouble of finding out the following statistics:

AR (3 clubs) Games 279 - Won 93 (33.33%) Lost 109 (39.07%) Drawn 77 (27.6%)

PJ (1 club - 2 spells) Games 292 - Won 114 (39.04%) Lost 99 (33.9%) Drawn 79 (27.05%)

So lets play spot the difference here!! Nope, me neither, only in so much as ARs record is spread over 3 different clubs. Proves to me that it it hadn't been for last season that Jacko would still be our manager, further proves that Davy quite clearly doesn't do statistics (replacing one Manager with another one with an almost identical win ratio) and that AR was appointed on the strength of his play-off season at Barnsley.

None of this makes Andy a poor manager of course, and I'm not calling for his head here, far from it. When we play well we look good, but there has been precious little of that lately! No, what I am getting at is where will any improvement come? Ok, maybe if Mr Davy loosened the purse strings for a loan striker at the very least, and Andy was allowed to bring his own backroom staff in (anyone know why John Dungworth is still assistant) maybe we would be rewarded with better results (I'm not going to cite injured players here, our squad is threadbare regardless). Get the distinct feeling that AR is being made to work to exactly the same constraints that ultimately saw off Jacko.

Chris Brandon

Before anyone on here is accusing me of blatant favouritism here, I'm saying the following because, like him or not, this is indisputable: Brandos work rate and determination at present is putting the rest of the players to shame at the moment - no exceptions - and yet STILL he is criticised, no doubt by the same ones who were maligning him vocally (unjustifiably imo) behind me in the LB Lower last season. So, there is no end-product his detractors insist - but is there any end product anywhere on the pitch at the moment? I for one am glad Blackpool decided not to keep him. I can't help it if he's my favourite Town player, but if he wasn't putting it all in (like several at present) I would say so - truly I would (I get the feeling no-one believes me...)!

Ken Davy

My views on our Chairman are well known, but as word reaches me that a Rugby match that probably wont happen has meant us bringing forward the kick off of the Luton match to 12 noon, you have to wonder yet again what is going on here. Mr Davy can deny it all he wants, but you wont get many Town fans convinced that The Giants aren't leeching off Town, that coupled with our strangling rent agreement and the lack of funds yet again materialising for players - and he probably cant understand why a fair section of the support wish him gone. Which brings the old chestnut of "...what would happen...". Anyone got the phone number of an Arab Sheik / Oil Baron / Lottery Winner? Thought not - we are lumbered then, well and truly. Top 30 by 2008.... even the most optimistic fan knows how unlikely that is. With no investment and over-reliance on the academy we may well remain in Division 3 for the foreseeable future.

In Conclusion

At the end of the day, I am mightily proud of supporting the greatest team in football, love Town with all my heart, and will be there forever no matter what - its the most addictive drug in the world, but it does get difficult at times - perhaps that's why we all stick by them through thick and thin. The most fantastic box of delights ever made don't you think? You really don't know what you are going to get next.............

Monday, September 17, 2007

Not sure if I'm over Saturdays disappointment yet, although the blow has been softened slightly with the confirmation I can have 3rd November off (for the Port Vale game) in return for overtime (and plenty of it - bah) - but there is no way I could have concentrated properly knowing my beloved Town were playing down the road - I've seen them at Port Vale many times, its not far from where I live (Pavs hat-trick lives long in the memory). I'm just glad to be able to be there!!

***
On Saturday morning my Man United supporting hubby and my Man United supporting step-son dutifully queued up at a book signing Norman Whiteside was giving in Crewe. Just before you wonder why I'm bothering you all with this non-Town information, its more to do with what was said afterwards......

Sam took his book for a fellow Man U fan to look at in the club last night, and they were talking about if any other players had come to Crewe for a book signing. Sam said there wouldn't be many other players of the past he would go to the trouble of seeing "...perhaps Robbo, or Eric The King..." he mused "...or.." (turning to me with a mischievous look) "...Brucey, but I'd have to take Julie along for that one..."; "...not unless I had a grenade or a shotgun at the ready..." was my retort (I was only jesting of course............).

Huddersfield Town 2-3 Cheltenham Town

Another home defeat, too many players not putting it all in, schoolboy errors - all in all typical Town - I don't want to go on an anti-Davy rant just now though (that's for another post), although many fingers are pointing his way.

Just for the benefit of everyone, this is what AR had to say about the performance; just to confirm that it IS yesterdays game he is talking about, in case some of you think he was at another match entirely............

AR on Town v Cheltenham

Richard Keogh and David Mirfin were partnered in central defence for the first time, and just to show you can go from hero-to-zero in no time Keogh (receiver of many plaudits after Millwall) had an awful first half - Town could have gone in at least 2 behind thanks to him (one occasion playing a Cheltenham player onside when everyone else had stepped up, and another when he slipped while trying to challenge allowing a chance). As it was the 1st half remained goalless.

Town did take the lead though in the 49th minute - Malvin Kamara was played through by Chris Brandon (sorry to be a stuck record, but I gather Brando was outstanding yet again), and "..Churchill.." (don't ask) made no mistake for his 2nd goal of the season.

That was as good as it got though, and Cheltenham were on terms 15 minutes later - a free kick played into the head of Damian Spencer who rose highest to nod past Matt Glennon. Then Cheltenham took the lead - Spencer again, allowed far too much time to weigh up his shot which beat Matt Glennon comfortably. Then as if it couldn't get any worse, we were another goal behind - Glennon unable to hold onto Spencers shot, Cheltenham captain John Finnegan blasting in the rebound.

Town fans headed to the exits in droves, but they were nearly cheated out of an exciting finish. Right on 90 minutes Richard Keogh grabbed a goal back - a 30 yarder superbly curled home. As the 4th official signalled 4 minutes of added time was there time for drama - and it looked liked there was, when Luke Beckett appeared to have got Town an un-deserved equaliser with a header, only for the referee to disallow it for a foul.

Another bitter blow, and town have lost 3 out of the last 4 matches - woeful form - and we have problems.

Friday, September 14, 2007

Tomorrow sees Town at home to Cheltenham, but work unfortunately means my absence from this fixture (I will try not to get too distracted). I fully expect three points however!

Been trying to sort out my Saturday availabilities for the next month or so - and my visits will be non-existent for the time being. My next scheduled weekend off is the 13th and 14th October - Town are away at Donny on the 14th (live on Sky), so I will be spectating from my armchair for that one. I am off on the 21st October (and off all the following week - birthday time for me) so will be travelling over for the Oldham game (all being well). The following Friday night is when we play Tranmere, so unless I can persuade my long-suffering other half otherwise I will be spending that evening in the company of Oggy & Kieran. Further than that I can't really tell - I've no more scheduled holiday until December, although expect a weekend off sometime in November. (Although I will be doing my damnedest to be at the Port Vale match on November 3rd - might have to call in a favour for that one though).

Sunday, September 9, 2007

Tonight has been difficult as you can imagine. Said to Sam before we got to the club "...how long before someone mentions this afternoon...". Answer = 5 seconds. The club steward spotted me and said "...no shirt tonight Julie?...". Went to hang my jacket up, was confronted by 2 of Sams mates saying "...how did they finish up then Ju...". It was relentless!

Had a stand up row with an old boy in there who claimed at the top of his voice, with me purposely in earshot, he had heard on Radio Stoke (fountain of all knowledge - not) that we should have been down to 10 men because a Huddersfield player had crippled a Crewe player - utter rubbish - garbage of the highest order. Boothy caught one of their players with his follow through - no malice whatsoever - yellow card just for catching the guy accidentally, nothing else. I was furious that this f****** imbecile thought otherwise - he wasn't there, didn't even know what or who he was talking about. Andy Booth is the perfect gentleman, the model pro on and off the field. I was absolutely livid that anyone could paint him any different, particularly on the say so of a poxy local Radio Station that was only caring about Crewe because Stoke weren't playing. Laughable. Still fuming now.

Was surprised at one thing today though - my beloved hubby (a Crewe watcher / supporter back in the day) admitted to me that he hoped Town would win because of how much it meant to me - ahhh, don't hear that very often as he would be the first to admit he has no interest in Town whatsoever, still nice to hear that regardless!

Crewe Alexandra 2-0 Huddersfield Town

I wouldn't necessarily say that was a fair result because Crewe are no great shakes, but today saw Town just not quite good enough.

David Mirfin was back (solid as a rock all game), and there was a debut for Shane Killock (bit dodgy to start with, but ended up looking very promising indeed). Danny Schofield made the bench, and Boothy and Luke Beckett started up front again.

Town actually had the first chance of the game, when Boothy capitalised on some sleeping defenders, nipping in and rifling in a shot that missed Ben Williams goal by a whisker. But that was as near as Town got, and Crewe were quick to take the lead (16 minutes). A lovely through ball played in their new loan player Lee Barnard and he made no mistake, an almost Beckett-like finish beating Matt Glennon (and no he was not offside, I was almost in line with him).

Mirf nearly equalised when a bullet header from a corner forced a save from keeper Williams.

Then complete and utter disaster. A Ball over the top - Matt Glennon came out of his box to try and clear his lines, missed completely, and Eugen Bopp wont have an easier goal to score, tapping it into an empty net. 2-0 down, and no way back, I just couldn't see it.

**NOTE TO THE "SUPPORTERS" WHO BOOED GLENNON DURING THE GAME - IT SOLVES NOTHING, AFFECTS THE PLAYERS AND IS FODDER FOR OPPOSITION SUPPORTERS. SAVE YOUR CUSSING FOR HALF / FULL TIME INSTEAD (IF YOU MUST)**

Second half Town were a little brighter, but just seemed to lack that final finish. Only longish range efforts from Matt Young (who had a better game) and Chris Brandon (superb, yet again) to note.

But 2-0 it remained, a disappointing result, and my poor Nephew Luke has yet to see Town score, let alone win on his 3 visits to watch Town with me. It broke my heart when we got in the car and he said "...sorry Auntie Ju, its my fault Town didn't win isn't it...". Bless! Poor little thing. I did my Auntie-duties thing by reassuring him it wasn't his fault at all, but I'm not sure he was completely convinced (he is only 10 after all)!

AR on Crewe v Town (written)

4 1/2 hours to go!! Really, really looking forward to the game now - can hardly sit still with the excitement! Heres to 3 points, because a Town defeat will cost me a fortune in beer......

Some good news ahead of Saturdays game.

Mirfin - I'm Ready To Return

With Richard Keogh unavailable due to Under-21 commitments then this could not have happened at a better time.

Andy Ritchie gives the lads food for thought after last night debacle.

AR on Grimsby v Town

I suppose he has a point when he says at least it was in the Cup, because if we win on Saturday it will all be forgotten. For every Millwall there is a Rochdale! But if the players were treating this game like a friendly (as I have heard) then that is grossly unfair on the 250 Town fans who made their way over there last night. Still think he would have been better served giving a few youngsters a run out.

Lets hope this verbal kick up the backside results in 3 points on Saturday, then as I have already said this can all be quickly forgotten.

Grimsby Town 4-1 Huddersfield Town

Not a lot can really be said about this shambles. AR would have been better off playing 11 academy lads and not the full side he did - I would not have played Glennon, would have started with Eastwood me, and it was thanks to Matty G that Grimsby got 2 of their goals.

Hopeless, useless, crap, forgettable. Towns rotten run in Cups continues. Play like this against Crewe and we will be thrashed.

Michael Collins' opener cancelled out by Fenton, Toller, Rankin & Till. Paul Ogden said that Grimsby were well worth the win, their commitment could not be faulted, better in defence, better in every other area.

Andy Ritchie has major work to do before Saturday to avert certain disaster.

Half Time: Grimsby 1-1 Town

Typical Town. Looked like we were going into the break ahead, not to be. Michael Collins put Town in front, Grimsby equalised through Fenton with seconds left.

Paint Pot Trophy time tonight away at Grimsby. I know some people take the mickey out of this competition, but I would give anything to visit New Wembley. Lets hope for progress anyway.

****

Was watching Blackpool playing Hull on Sky last night, even going to the trouble of having a fiver on GTF to score first @ 7-1 - and he dually obliged a minute into the second half! Nice one. They went onto win 2-1 (Rabs in goal).

Sunday, September 2, 2007

Just received a rather intriguing message in the Guestbook. Dare I dream that it might really have been left by the man himself?? I'm feeling a bit giddy, and extremely excited with the thought that it really could have been; it means so much to me as you lot will no doubt appreciate.

A Terriers Tale - The Guestbook

6 days to go to one of the most important matches of the season (for me anyway), and the banter has started already. Was accosted by 3 Crewe fans down the club last night enquiring if I was going to be there (like I wouldn't be, yeah) and (by one accostee) how many Town were going to lose by this season!! Charming.

I suspect by getting my tickets last week I've done myself a huge favour. With Town winning yesterday, and Crewe being quite accessible by road and (particularly) rail, I expect a good following.

For those of you travelling by road, here are some directions: Leave the M6 at junction 16, and then take the A500 (sign-posted Crewe). Turn right on to the A5020 Weston Road and at the A534 Nantwich Road roundabout take the first exit (sign-posted for the railway station). Trains are also no problem, and regular via Manchester Piccadilly.

Heres to three more points!

Millwall 1-2 Huddersfield Town

"...and the sound of ...ooh 2 be a terrier... rings out around the ground..." so says Paul Ogden - and so it should do - brilliant, absolutely brilliant, I'm absolutely thrilled at this result. Don't think anyone expected us to get much today - 11/4 on the coupon we were - but its victory!!!

Town doing things the hard way of course, Millwall ran us ragged for most of the first half, and they went ahead when Paul Robinson headed home in the 41st minute. I thought we would go in behind after that, but was I glad to be wrong! Andy Booth, playing up front with Luke Beckett today, looped a trademark header over the goalkeeper to equalise. Frank Sinclair went off almost immediately after that, hamstring bother again I hear. Shame that, out for 3 weeks then only lasting one half on his return.

Towns winner was sublime. Marvellous Malvin Kamara finally breaking his Town duck with a superb piece of skill, curled a gorgeous shot with his right foot to send the Town followers into raptures.

Millwall pressed for a leveller, but it didn't come. Richard Keogh was magnificent at the back today, sounds a quality signing.

Onwards now to Grimsby on Tuesday night for Johnstone Paints action.

AR on Millwall v Town (written)

Half -Time: Millwall 1-1 Town

Thought Town were going to go in at 1/2 time a goal behind - lucky for us The LEGEND that is Andy Boooooooooothyyyyyyyyy, has put us on terms. Sounds quite a good game to me, Frank Sinclairs hamstring has gone again though **groan**. Lets hope for a good second half!!

Town kick off against Millwall in about 20 minutes time. I am at home today (day off), looking forward to Oggy and Kieron commentating on a Town win (fingers crossed). At the moment enjoying a quick listen to Jo Dee while putting my feet up!!

My tickets for the Crewe game have arrived. I say tickets, because as last season young Luke is coming along with me. Only hope he gets to see Town score a goal this time, something that failed to happen on his two previous Town watching occasions of last season.
