Millwall 1-2 Huddersfield Town

"...and the sound of ...ooh 2 be a terrier... rings out around the ground..." so says Paul Ogden - and so it should do - brilliant, absolutely brilliant, I'm absolutely thrilled at this result. Don't think anyone expected us to get much today - 11/4 on the coupon we were - but its victory!!!

Town doing things the hard way of course, Millwall ran us ragged for most of the first half, and they went ahead when Paul Robinson headed home in the 41st minute. I thought we would go in behind after that, but was I glad to be wrong! Andy Booth, playing up front with Luke Beckett today, looped a trademark header over the goalkeeper to equalise. Frank Sinclair went off almost immediately after that, hamstring bother again I hear. Shame that, out for 3 weeks then only lasting one half on his return.

Towns winner was sublime. Marvellous Malvin Kamara finally breaking his Town duck with a superb piece of skill, curled a gorgeous shot with his right foot to send the Town followers into raptures.

Millwall pressed for a leveller, but it didn't come. Richard Keogh was magnificent at the back today, sounds a quality signing.

Onwards now to Grimsby on Tuesday night for Johnstone Paints action.
