Tonight has been difficult as you can imagine. Said to Sam before we got to the club "...how long before someone mentions this afternoon...". Answer = 5 seconds. The club steward spotted me and said "...no shirt tonight Julie?...". Went to hang my jacket up, was confronted by 2 of Sams mates saying "...how did they finish up then Ju...". It was relentless!

Had a stand up row with an old boy in there who claimed at the top of his voice, with me purposely in earshot, he had heard on Radio Stoke (fountain of all knowledge - not) that we should have been down to 10 men because a Huddersfield player had crippled a Crewe player - utter rubbish - garbage of the highest order. Boothy caught one of their players with his follow through - no malice whatsoever - yellow card just for catching the guy accidentally, nothing else. I was furious that this f****** imbecile thought otherwise - he wasn't there, didn't even know what or who he was talking about. Andy Booth is the perfect gentleman, the model pro on and off the field. I was absolutely livid that anyone could paint him any different, particularly on the say so of a poxy local Radio Station that was only caring about Crewe because Stoke weren't playing. Laughable. Still fuming now.

Was surprised at one thing today though - my beloved hubby (a Crewe watcher / supporter back in the day) admitted to me that he hoped Town would win because of how much it meant to me - ahhh, don't hear that very often as he would be the first to admit he has no interest in Town whatsoever, still nice to hear that regardless!
