Davy Offers Pearson Partnership Chance
Can't see this happening meself. Of course I like the idea, AP being Chairman and bringing his not-inconsiderable funds to Town - but he wants to own the club outright, not a partnership (that is my understanding), and that has been waved away seemingly ("...I am not selling the whole club...").
Curses. Lets hope Adam Pearson is the persistent type. If he ends up taking his money elsewhere I will be absolutely furious - a golden opportunity well and truly missed because of our selfish chairman.
I have a few words of wisdom for Mr Davy however.....
SELL UP, TAKE YOUR PROFIT (I DON'T BEGRUDGE YOU THAT), CONTINUE TO RUN THE GIANTS OR ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT. LET TOWN BE RUN BY SOMEONE WHO GENUINELY CARES.
