A Terrier's Tale.....

The following has been written by a Hull fan, and to me it is the most glowing reference that AP could ever wish for, and should go a long way to convincing any doubters (if there are any left) that he truly is the man to take the our beloved Town forward.

"....So what to say about Pearson....?

He knows how to run a football club on a limited budget. He'll increase revenue, but not by raising prices in a manner that the fans cannot afford, but by trying to get more through the gate. He'll not pay over the odds as regards player contracts and transfer fees, but he'll back his manager, if there's someone the manager wants at a reasonable price.

He'll talk to the fans all the time, we still have the monthly Fans Liaison meetings he founded. He knows how to deal with the media, he's very approachable in that respect. He knows about STs, having dealt with the Co-operative! Plus he will introduce Fans Forums, at least one a season, and more if he can be persuaded.

I don't think you'll find a Hull City fan who has a bad word to say about him, which in this age of shysters and hoolies in charge of some clubs is something. As well as a businessman, he's a football man and a Terrier through and through. He won't rest until he feels he's taken the club as far as he can. He knows the ins and outs of running a club in league one and will make sure you get it, if its within his scope.

Having AP in charge might just be the best thing to happen to HTFC in many a year, IMO..."
