A Terrier's Tale.....

Town are at home again tonight (and I will be in work for the full duration, curses) against Nottingham Forest. Should be a good game, lets hope we can pick up from where we left off and get back-to-back wins (crosses fingers).

The "..Fight For Answers..." supporters group held a meeting with Ken Davy & Roger Armitage yesterday - this is what happened:

A few points:

"...What we have learned tonight is that, on top of the well documented £600k he personally put into the club to cover the deficit last season (which he confirmed at a previous meeting), the Giants also lent Town £400k last season..."

What the heck is that about? The Giants lending us money (or to be precise, KD gave them the money to give to us), and that is on top of the £600k "...introduced..." . Unbelievable.

also...

"...They confirmed that the combined fees received for Pawel Abbott and GTF was "nowhere near" the £300k+ we suggested..."

Great business that, letting two of our best players go for next to nothing.

and finally...

"...KD suggested that, if the rumours of AP's wealth were to be proven true, he very much doubted AP would have sufficient cash to do anything with the football club..."

So KD believes everything he reads in the papers then. Just because the NOTW and the Yorkshire Post said AP was going it alone, I don't believe that necessarily. He will have other backers I'm sure. (The AP deal is not dead in the water I am told, in fact other meetings are set to take place).



If KD thinks he is the only man to take the club forward then we are in big trouble. Sooner he is gone, the better it will be.
