Huddersfield Town 2-1 Bristol Rovers

Town managed to get back on track with 3 points against Bristol Rovers at a freezing Galpharm. Robbie Williams made his home debut, and Andy Booth was making his 350th appearance for Town.

In front after quarter of an hour, Ronnie Wallwork found the net with a 25 yarder that took a wicked deflection (they all count) after Bristol failed to clear. And it stayed that way at half time.

The equaliser came when Town typically failed to deal with a cross, Joe Jacobson doing the honours (against the run of play completely).

Town were not to be denied a few minutes later when Phil Jevons scored his 3rd goal in 2 games. A long throw in from Nathan Clarke, Boothy with the flick-on and Jevons with some lovely foot movement to steer it home. A welcome 3 points.

I have mentioned on here in the past how my husband gets a bit hacked off when we go to our local social club because I get "..mitherers.." (his words) wanting to know how Town have got on / talk football. He said last night took the biscuit, because he went down there on his own (I was working late) and three people told him that we had won before he had even got his coat off!! Yesterdays result puts us above Crewe in the table again (not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but worth a few brownie points in my neck of the woods)!
