The largest 3rd division crowd in 25 years saw, in all honesty in the end, a rout. Based on Towns first half performance you could not have envisaged this outcome. Chances for Schofield, Kamara and Booth squandered, but Leeds went in front with the only shot they had on target in the first half, Jonathan Douglas' 35 yard effort beating an unsighted Alex Smithies.
Even at half time I still thought we were in it, but goals change games they say, and Town conceded a second when Jermaine Beckford scored. Downhill all the way after that, Beckford with his second and Tore Andre Flo completing a nightmare scenario.
The better team in the end has won (it grieves me to say this), but whether we were 4 goals inferior (particularly after the way we played in parts) is debatable, but with conceding 8 and scoring just the 1 in two games doesn't look good does it, and I'm embarrassed.
