Gillingham 1-0 Huddersfield Town

We've been robbed. Some dubious refereeing late on handed Gillingham victory; Nathan Clarke purportedly shoulder-charged Delroy Facey (you might know), a challenge deemed "...a straightforward defensive manouvre..." by Paul Ogden, and had Kieran O'Regan saying he did not think it would have been given had it been at the other end of the pitch. Adam Miller scored from the spot while the Town players were still complaining.

Rob Page limped off in the second half, Town fans everywhere praying ti isn't too serious (will try to find out)

Chances for Town from Phil Jevons, Andy Holdsworth and Andy Booth, but all in all a scrappy affair devoid of much incident before the penalty.

The referee was in the thick of it again near the end - Michael Collins clearly fouled, grabbed the ball - only for the official to give handball instead of a Town free kick ("...he's lost the plot now.." KO'R).

Disapointed, but now we can look to "..mad March.." (P Ogden), with matches every Tuesday as well as all the Saturdays, with some hope.
