Andy Ritchie was on Soccer Night last night, bleating that we didn't give him long enough. He claims that managers need at least 2-3 years to get things right. Christ, if we'd given him any longer I'd have shot myself. Oldham truly was the final straw. We've gone nowhere this season (no I am not suggesting not getting rid of PJ in the first place would have prevented this), and out of the team Gerry Murphy selected on Tuesday only Robbie Williams (who was poor) and Rob Page were Ritchie signings. Seems to me that GM has done more in 3 weeks than AR (and Dungheap of course) managed in 12 months.
Things are definitely looking up!!
