Huddersfield Town 2-0 Walsall
This seasons home fixtures end as they started with 3 points. I'd wish we'd sacked AR in December now, considering the non-stop improvement since his departure.
The perfect leaving gift from Danny Schofield as he opened the scoring not long before half-time. Andy Holdsworth run from midfield, his precise pass setting Scoffer on his way, and he coolly placed his shot into the far corner (GOOD LUCK SCOFFER, WE WILL MISS YOU).
Town were well on top in this encounter and the points were made safe in the 56th minute, when Andy Booth got his 125th Town career goal, Jon Worthington crossing accurately for Boothy to score with a trademark header.
Gerry Murphy should be in line for Manager of The Month for April now I think, and I'm hopeful that him and Graham Mitchell are allowed to take care of the lads one final time at Luton next weekend, they both deserve it.

A mixed reception I gather for the grand unveiling of our new Management team, with a few boos. I have to ask, WHAT PLANET ARE THESE SO CALLED SUPPORTERS ON?? Give them a chance, they weren't my choices either but on reflection they could well do a good job. I can only assume the dissenters did not know who Stan Ternent was, not old enough to appreciate Rocket Ron as a Town hero, no idea what Martin Allen had done to talk himself out of the job, or deluded enough to believe all the Shearer nonsense. Either way, to boo when they are not even in charge is low. This is what I say to them
GET BEHIND THE LADS, GET BEHIND STAN & RONNIE, SUPPORT THE TOWN 10000000% OR CLEAR OFF
Rant over!
