Huddersfield Town 2-2 Doncaster Rovers

A performance light years away from last Saturday saw Town pegged back twice, enabling Doncaster to take a share of the spoils.

Town in front in the 7th minute. Clarke with the free kick, Booth with the flick on and Robbie Williams with the finish from 10 yards.

it was nearly all Town, this match could have been all over by half time had Boothy, Collins and Brandon converted their chances, but Town remained 1 up at the break.

Doncaster equalised on 50 minutes, Gareth Taylor finishing neatly from Greens pullback. Rovers were down to 10 men shortly afterwards, Matthew Mills hauled Chris Brandon down while the latter was through on goal.

Town made the extra man count, when from the resulting free kick, Andy Holdsworth fired low past Sullivans near post.

3 points weren't meant to be ours this time, Paul Greens excellent shot 6 minutes from time rescued a point for the visitors. Overall though, a good result considering, and a better performance all round. More worrying is the 5 yellow cards picked up including Jon Worthington (4 in 4 for him, not good).

Potential new managers spotted (so I have been told so far) - Martin Allen and Chris Hutchings. Indeed, rumours abound that MA met KD for talks yesterday. Hope that is true, because Chris Hutchings doesn't strike me as the dynamic, season-ticket shifting appointment hinted at. But Martin Allen would be in my opinion.
