The manager saga has taken a (rather worrying) twist. Various sources are quoting that Stan Ternent has left Derby County to join Town and he's bringing Ronnie Jepson with him as number two!!! Spare us all if it's true, this, in my opinion, has disaster written all over it. So he's got promotions in his history. So had Andy Ritchie. I'm more than a tad dismayed if this turns out to be true (couldn't Adam Pearson have done a bit more to persuade him to stay).
Nothing on the Official Site of note, only that ST has been approached.
Oh, and for all those who heard that Sir Alex Ferguson had recommended Ternent for Town - remember last time we employed a manager on a recommendation from a knight of the realm.
As I have said, this has got disaster written all over it. I am dismayed an unimpressed in equal measure.
