Its official folks. A three year deal (will they ever learn), with Ronnie Jepson as assistant. The Rocket really is laying his hero status on the line here. Failure and he will never be forgiven.
What you can say, I suppose, is that Stan Ternent has been there and done it at this level. His win ratio is nothing to crow about and that is a concern, but he has a couple of promotions on his CV, and is still regarded highly at Burnley and Bury as a result. A lot will depend (as with AR 12 months ago) on the calibre of player he brings in in the summer.
I'll say what I said last time when Andy Ritchie was appointed - in 12 months time we could be talking about an inspired appointment, on the other hand though, well........
