Tonight sees our Herbert Chapman Trophy encounter against Arsenal, although if I had been one of the 15,000 or so who had bought tickets I would have been a little miffed at the "side" that The Gunners are putting out.
To be honest, it's almost mis-representation. A more realistic way to advertise tonight would have been Town v Arsenal XI, or Town v Arsenal Acadamy, so bereft is the squad. Complaints? Form an orderly queue!! On the team list I saw, I only recognised Theo Walcotts name, although I admit I don't follow Arsenal that closely. The fact that many Town fans think Wenger is taking the proverbial means there are not too many on the list who will be familiar.
A big crowd, live on Setanta and then they do that. I'm sure there will be many, many Town fans who may feel a little short-changed.
